A short time later, working with Silver State Mortgage, Randy Lund achieved a milestone target of $106 million with 688 loans. The criteria of the top originator list were that the residential loan originator had to personally close at least $30 million and 140 loan of personal, residential volume, and Randy Lund greatly exceeded that. Based on his prior experience in the accounting world, Randy Lund developed an effective referral relationship with CPAs and other professionals as he was able to serve mortgage needs brought to him by clients of those CPAs, and then in turn refer some of his clients to CPAs and other financial professionals.
